Supply is being allocated to a reduced number of existing customers
Due to high demand and manufacturing delays, only a limited supply of Gammaplex 5% and 10% (immune globulin [human]; Bio Products Laboratory) is currently available, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). As such, supply is being allocated to a reduced number of existing customers.
Gammaplex, an immune globulin, is indicated to treat chronic immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) and primary humoral immunodeficiency (eg, common variable immunodeficiency, X-linked agammaglobulinemia, congenital agammaglobulinemia, Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome, severe combined immunodeficiencies).
Gammaplex 5% is available as 5 g/100 mL, 10 g/200 mL, and 20 g/400 mL liquid for IV infusion. Gammaplex 10% is available as 5 g/50 mL, 10 g/100 mL, and 20 g/200 mL liquid for intravenous (IV) infusion.
