Indications for: Chlorzoxazone Caplets
Painful musculoskeletal conditions.
Adult Dosage:
500mg 4 times daily; max 750mg 4 times daily.
Children Dosage:
Not recommended.
Chlorzoxazone Caplets Warnings/Precautions:
Monitor for hepatotoxicity; discontinue if hepatic dysfunction, abnormal liver enzymes, or rash occurs. Allergy. Pregnancy.
Chlorzoxazone Caplets Classification:
Muscle relaxant (central).
Chlorzoxazone Caplets Interactions:
Additive effects with concomitant alcohol, other CNS depressants.
Adverse Reactions:
GI upset, drowsiness, dizziness, liver damage; fatal hepatocellular toxicity (rare).
